K(C)ancellation Policy - We would be grateful if resident guestswould make any changes or cancellations at least 24 hours prior tothe scheduled treatment time. We request that day guests observe a 48 hour treatment change or cancellation notice period.Treatments cancelled after this time will incur a cancellation tariff of100%. If you wish to change or cancel an appointment, please contact Kloofzicht Spa directly.
 

Lockers - For your convenience, a robe, slippers and towels are provided. While Kloofzicht Spa provides lockers, it is recommendedthat you leave valuables at home. Kloofzicht Spa does not assume liability for valuables.

Our Gift Vouchers - Treatments and Spa Packages make wonderful gifts for family and friends, or as an incentive or reward for business colleagues. Gift vouchers can be purchased for any monetary value.

Occasions & Groups - A visit to the Kloofzicht Spa will make a great outing for friends celebrating a special occasion or colleagues taking a break together. Please contact Kloofzicht Spa directly to make arrangements for group bookings. Group bookings needs to be made well in advance and is subject to availability. The needs of each
group can be tailor-made.

Individual requirements - We always strive to make every visit toKloofzicht a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Please help us bytelling your therapist if you have any allergies, injuries or may bepregnant. Should your chosen treatment be unsuitable we will gladly assist and advise on a safer alternative. Our staff will be pleased to offer any assistance if you have mobility difficulties orother special requirements. All ** marked treatments are
pregnancy safe.

Children - Kloofzicht Spa welcomes children over the age of 16 to enjoy Spa Treatments and make use of the facilities.
Hours of Operation - The Spa is open 09h00-18h00 on Monday to Saturday and 9h00-15h00 on Sunday.

Treatment bookings – We recommend that your reservation is made in advance. 50% deposit is required to secure your spa booking. All Treatments are carefully planned to accommodate the needs of each guest. Please note that as a courtesy to all our guests a prompt appointment schedule needs to be adhered to. Late appointments will be completed in the allocated time and the feewill remain unchanged. Allow us enough time for your experience
and arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment, so we can record your current spa needs and details, offer you refreshments and the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing steam and/or shower before your treatment.

Staying @ Kloofzicht - We offer luxurious suites and bedrooms, restaurants and activities to guests who wish to extend their Spa visit with an overnight stay. For further information, or to request a brochure and tariffs, please call Reservations at the hotel on 011 317 0600. Hotel residents can make use of the steam rooms, Jacuzzi and
indoors pool during Spa hours at a charge of R100.00 per person.

Points of Safety - Trained staff are on duty in the Spa, but we have no dedicated lifeguards watching the pools and other wet areas. If you suffer from high blood pressure, have recently been unwell or believe you may be pregnant, you should not use the steam room or Jacuzzi. It is important that you shower before and after using the
wet facilities and pool area. No glass of any sort is permitted in Jacuzzi, Steam or Rasul. All areas of Kloofzicht Spa are designated non-smoking and mobile phone-free zones.

Aqua - Our wet facilities, such as the indoors heated pool, Jacuzzi & steam rooms are complimentary for you to enjoy during your visit to our Spa. Swimwear must be worn at all times while making use of these facilities as well as with the Hydro bath & Rasul treatments.

Spa Guidelines

  • Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time for your consultation and so that you may leisurely prepare for your treatment.

  • Lockers are provided for your personal items and clothing.

  • Ensure cell phones are switched off.

  • Please bring your bathing costume along.

  • Please alert your therapist of any of the following: heart conditions, high blood pressure, muscle or joint injuries,
    pregnancy, diabetes, epilepsy, allergies to iodine or any other products, medication such as Roaccutane or Retin-A.

  • Advise your therapist on the preferred pressure for your massage.

  • Besides package prices, all other prices are per treatment.

  • Chicama Spa is not responsible for any theft, damage, loss or misfortune that may occur.

  • For any booking to be confirmed, your credit card details or a proof of payment is required.

  • No cash refunds for products / gift vouchers purchased or services rendered.

SPA GUIDELINES
  • Take time – Leave behind the stressful world and walk into an oasis of pampered luxury, where the subtle tones and textures of muted African decor embrace you. Give yourself plenty of time so you can enjoy thes team prior to your therapy. This will relax the muscles and aid in the therapeutic benefits of all our therapies.
  • Shower - A quick shower just before your massage or therapy is relaxing and washes off any salts, minerals or chemicals that could clog pores when mixed with oils or other therapy products.
  • Treatment attire - You will be given the opportunity to disrobe and cover yourself in privacy. Throughout your
    therapies, your body will be completely draped. At no time will you be fully exposed.
  • Communicate - Prior to your therapy, please tell your therapist the areas you would like to focus on and any areas to be avoided. During your therapy, let the therapist know if you feel any discomfort.
  • Communication is the key to getting what you want out of your experience. Keep in mind that all bodywork is similar to exercise in that, lactic acid and other toxins released from the muscles may cause some soreness for a few days.
  • Relax - Close your eyes and allow your mind to be free. Breathe deeply and let the tension slip away with each breath. Remember, this time is for you.
  • Health matters - Please inform us of any health conditions when booking your appointment, for
    example high blood pressure, heart conditions, allergies or if you are pregnant.
  • Home spa - Most of the body and skin care products that we use in our therapies are available for purchase.
    We encourage you to ask your therapist how to use these products to continue your spa experience at home.
  • Booking – Advance booking for spa services is highly recommended to ensure availability.
  • Cancellation – Please allow 24hrs notice should you need to reschedule, change or cancel your appointment. Cancellations within less than 24hrs will incur a 50% charge of your total services cancelled and less than 12hrs or no show will incur a full charge.
  • Valuables – Please leave your valuables in your room for safe keeping.
  • Spa Environment – please help us maintain the serenity of the spa environment by refraining from
    smoking or using cell phones .
  • Pregnancy – allow our qualified therapists to tailor-make a mother-to-be treatment or package for you,
    focusing on the stresses pregnancy places on the body without harming your baby.
